Victorino 2019 Tora wine 6 bottle case. The vat and duty is included in the price

Victorina 2019 Vineyards located in Valdefinjas, Toro (Zamora) and Villabuena Bridge.

The 2019 Victorino was selected from 45- to 100-year-old vines in La Jara and El Palo (Toro), El Rosal and El Risco in Villabuena del Puente and in Valdefinjas (35 hectares) that yielded 21 hectolitres per hectare, quite low. It had a traditional vinification of destemmed grapes with yeasts selected from their own vineyards with malolactic and 20 months of aging in 100% new French oak barrels. This is still very young and marked by the toast from the barrels, smoky and spicy and with ripe and juicy fruit, creamy, very round and with silky tannins, the signature of the vintage. It’s tasty and has a clean and defined finish. Very 2019. 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2021.

Bodegas Teso La Monja is the Eguren family’s new project in Toro featuring a state of the art winery and old vines of Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo). The sandy soils here meant that phylloxera never took hold so that most of the vines are ungrafted.

100 % Tinta de Toro, ungrafted and pre-philoxeric.

Proprietary vineyards situated in Valdefinjas, Toro and Villabuena del Puente. Head-trained in goblet. 35 Hcts.
Average age: from 45 years up to more than a hundred years old.
Altitude: 750 – 900 m. Environmental integrated agriculture cultivation.

Traditional method, 100% de-stemmed.
Traditional foot press three times a day during fermentation and light pump-overs. Malolactic in new French oak.
The wine is submitted to an ageing of 18 months in new Bordelaise barrels of French oak.

Tasting notes
Dense purple in colour, presents in the nose a great concentration of aromas of black fruit with brandy, spices and mineral nuances. On the palate it is well structured, powerful, very expressive, creamy, rich and aromatic with smooth tannins.

Drinking temperatures: 16-18 ºC
