Tamaral Crianza Ribera del Duero is created from the vineyards of Pesquera del Duero, situated at an elevation of over 900 meters. Four generations of the De Santiago family have made high quality wines by tending these same vines as early as the start of the 20th century. Years of enthusiasm, determination, and accumulated knowledge have let to the development of this fine red wine. The Ribera del Duero is located on the extensive, elevated northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula and is exposed to quite extreme climatic conditions. The long, dry summers see temperatures of up to 40 °C, which are then followed by hard winters as low as -18 °C.
Tasting Notes: Succulent, rich black fruit aromas with sweet floral top notes. Fantastic depth of flavour characterised by raspberry and blackberry tones, juicy red berries, and an underlying spice.
Winemaking Techniques: The Tempranillo grapes are first crushed and destemmed. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks with long periods of maceration to extract the optimum amount of fruit characteristics, colour and tannins. Aging occurs for 14 months in 60% American and 40% French oak barrels. Once bottled, the wine is held back in the warehouse to mature further until it is deemed ready for public release.
Food Pairings: Pair with braised lamb dishes or game meats.

Where we deliver and how much it costsDelivery to the UK mainland is next day providing we receive the order before 1 pm. The delivery charge is £7.00 per delivery. We also deliver to: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, the delivery cost is £12.00 per delivery. All UK deliveries are sent with tracking information to allow you to track your order from the day it is posted to when it appears at the recipient’s front door.
Cut-off time for next day deliveryOrders received before 1 pm are dispatched for next working day delivery. Please ensure that you give us the correct address and full postcode where a recipient will be able to accept a package, as we cannot be held responsible for any parcels not delivered or collected due to incorrect delivery information or if the recipient is away at the time. Please note that if an order is returned to us as a result of the recipient not being able to take delivery for any reason, we may need to charge an additional delivery charge to re-deliver. It is also useful if you can provide us with a contact telephone number for the recipient so we can contact them if necessary – you will be asked for this when you enter the delivery details during the checkout process. If you are not sure if a recipient will be at home, we recommend delivery to a work address where possible.
