Produced in the heart of the Cote des Blancs on a small 21-hectare property, approximately 180,000 bottles of Jose Michel Brut Champagne are produced each year. The operation is carefully overseen by Jose Michel himself, along with his son Bruno. The Chamapgne is made from a 70/30 blend of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The former provides strong notes of fruit which is complemented wonderfully by the freshness of the white grapes. The vinification of Jose Michel Brut takes place in stainless steel vats with a dosage of 9 g/l (or 30 g/l semi-dry).
Colour – primary colour of pale yellow with a brilliant green hue, featuring delicate and intense bubbles.
Palate – has a good structured intensity and length on the palate. Flavours primarily consist of fresh lemons and grapefruit.
Aroma – bouget with hints of lemon, mandarin, and citrus fruits.
Bottling – 0.375 litres – 0.75 litres – 1.5 litres – 3 litres.
Food pairings – this cuvee works especially well as an aperitif shared among friends and then enjoyed throughout a meal.
The Jose Michel Champagne gift is available as a case containing six bottles.
