Produced in the Gavi (Cortese di Gavi) appellation in southern area of the Piedmont region, these wines are considered some of the highest quality throughout Europe. It has appealing aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits, punctuated by just a hint of spice. This leads to a citrus palate that is reminiscent of an orchard, with stone fruits the central focus. It is this crisp acid nature that balances perfectly with the underlying minerals.
Gavi di Gavi wines only feature grapes grown on vineyards in the small town of Gavi. They are harvested by hand, usually in the final week of September, to undergo temperature-controlled fermentation. The use of the Cortese grape, as well as the single terroir origin, gives this wine a great deal of heritage dating back to the 17th century. This comes through thanks to the limestone and clay soils in which the vines are grown.

Where we deliver and how much it costsDelivery to the UK mainland is next day providing we receive the order before 1 pm. The delivery charge is £7.00 per delivery. We also deliver to: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, the delivery cost is £12.00 per delivery. All UK deliveries are sent with tracking information to allow you to track your order from the day it is posted to when it appears at the recipient’s front door.
Cut-off time for next day deliveryOrders received before 1 pm are dispatched for next working day delivery. Please ensure that you give us the correct address and full postcode where a recipient will be able to accept a package, as we cannot be held responsible for any parcels not delivered or collected due to incorrect delivery information or if the recipient is away at the time. Please note that if an order is returned to us as a result of the recipient not being able to take delivery for any reason, we may need to charge an additional delivery charge to re-deliver. It is also useful if you can provide us with a contact telephone number for the recipient so we can contact them if necessary – you will be asked for this when you enter the delivery details during the checkout process. If you are not sure if a recipient will be at home, we recommend delivery to a work address where possible.
