The Chateau la Fortune 2019 Margaux is a fine red wine made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. Produced by Michel Rolland, this wine has a complex elegance that pairs effortlessly with many types of food. The palate is a medium to full-bodied experience, with a slight chew to the texture. Expect flavours of cakes, spices, red fruits, and baked plums, finished with dried herbs.
The vineyards are situated along the left side of the Gironde estuary, with Margaux as the most southern Médoc appellation. The exceptional terroir of this location, with ancient gravels from the Pyrenees and the Garonne, the Margaux appellation is the only one of Haut Medoc to bear the name of a Premier Grand Cru Classe. It’s no surprise that Château la Fortune has therefore produced a wine such as this.

Where we deliver and how much it costsDelivery to the UK mainland is next day providing we receive the order before 1 pm. The delivery charge is £7.00 per delivery. We also deliver to: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, the delivery cost is £12.00 per delivery. All UK deliveries are sent with tracking information to allow you to track your order from the day it is posted to when it appears at the recipient’s front door.
Cut-off time for next day deliveryOrders received before 1 pm are dispatched for next working day delivery. Please ensure that you give us the correct address and full postcode where a recipient will be able to accept a package, as we cannot be held responsible for any parcels not delivered or collected due to incorrect delivery information or if the recipient is away at the time. Please note that if an order is returned to us as a result of the recipient not being able to take delivery for any reason, we may need to charge an additional delivery charge to re-deliver. It is also useful if you can provide us with a contact telephone number for the recipient so we can contact them if necessary – you will be asked for this when you enter the delivery details during the checkout process. If you are not sure if a recipient will be at home, we recommend delivery to a work address where possible.
