Montresor wine Amarone della Valpolicella Satinato is an accessible and delicious example of a new style of Amarone in a distinctive black frosted bottle. Stocked in the warehouse in Derbyshire, we deliver to all of the UK. All prices include the VAT and duty.
Made from a range of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara berries cultivated in Montresor’s vineyards in the Amarone wine Valpolicella Classico zone (northwest of Verona). The grapes are hand-harvested at the end of October. The late-harvested grapes are then dried out for four months (until February of the following year) and then crushed. The must is fermented in stainless steel for four months. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak casks and small French barrique for two years.
Tasting Notes: Hints of ground coffee and dark chocolate on the nose with ripe crushed berry, sharp cherry and very plummy fruit on the taste – backed by notes of bitter chocolate. Rich and warming yet fresh and well balanced, with supple tannins and a bold texture.
Cuisine: Amarone wine with food. Excellent with red meats, game or hard cheeses, especially Parmesan.

Where we deliver and how much it costsDelivery to the UK mainland is next day providing we receive the order before 1 pm. The delivery charge is £7.00 per delivery. We also deliver to: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, the delivery cost is £12.00 per delivery. All UK deliveries are sent with tracking information to allow you to track your order from the day it is posted to when it appears at the recipient’s front door.
Cut-off time for next day deliveryOrders received before 1 pm are dispatched for next working day delivery. Please ensure that you give us the correct address and full postcode where a recipient will be able to accept a package, as we cannot be held responsible for any parcels not delivered or collected due to incorrect delivery information or if the recipient is away at the time. Please note that if an order is returned to us as a result of the recipient not being able to take delivery for any reason, we may need to charge an additional delivery charge to re-deliver. It is also useful if you can provide us with a contact telephone number for the recipient so we can contact them if necessary – you will be asked for this when you enter the delivery details during the checkout process. If you are not sure if a recipient will be at home, we recommend delivery to a work address where possible.
